How we are funded
Last verified: July 28, 2026 — this page reviewed.
HeatPumpGrantHub is free to read and carries no advertising. It is funded by referral fees.
What that means in practice
If you choose to be connected with a heat pump installer through a partner service linked from this site, that partner may pay us a fee for the introduction. This is a lead referral model, not a product commission — we are not selling equipment and we do not take a percentage of your installation.
- You never pay more. The fee is paid by the partner out of their own marketing budget.
- It does not change your grant. What the Boiler Upgrade Scheme or a state programme pays is set by government rules. Nothing we do affects it.
- It does not decide our content. Which schemes we cover and what we say about them come from the source documents, and would be identical if no partner existed.
Where you will see it
Any link that can earn us a fee is marked as sponsored in the page code and, where it is a call to action, labelled in plain words. If a page contains no such link, we earn nothing from it — which is true of most of this site.
Our free cheat sheet is an email signup. We use it to send the document you asked for and to tell you when a figure we track changes. We do not sell the list. You can unsubscribe from any email.
The honest summary
We make money if this site is useful enough that you trust it when you are ready to get quotes. That incentive only works if the numbers are right — which is why the verification method matters more to us than any single referral.
